Since 2002,the goal
of Nap Mats, Etc. has been, and still is, to provide the very best nap mat
available at a reasonable price. Our nap mats are made from high quality 100%
cotton fabrics which are durable yet comfortable for napping. Cotton fabrics
have gone up in price three times since June, 2010, but we have decided to hold
our price of $60 regardless of our costs increasing. Our hope is that sales
volume will make this decision the right one. We continue to resist offers
to make them out of this country cheaper. The women in Mississippi who make
our nap mats take great pride in their work and make a superior product for us.
The thick polyester batting is quilted to keep it in place.
The nap mats are 26” wide and 48” long and have
a removable pillow and padded handles. If the nap mat is a printed fabric,
the inside is a solid color or a gingham fabric which coordinates well
with the print. Some are solid on the outside, such as the navy seersucker
and the blue denim. The inside fabrics of these are the gingham checks.
All our nap mats are priced at $60.00.
The fabrics chosen for the sleep side are soft and comfortable
cottons such as soft washed denim, chambray and twills.
We do not attach blankets to our nap mats because we have
been told by preschool teachers that attached blankets cause
the children to become frustrated when they cannot get the
blanket where they want it to cuddle with it. Blankets also
need to be washed much more often than the nap mats. We’ve
also been told that children do not need the cover even
though they are on the floor because they are fully clothed.
WE SUGGEST THAT YOU TUCK THE CHILD’S FAVORITE BLANKET
OR STUFFED TOY INTO THE PILLOWCASE OR THE NAP MAT. The tab
closure will hold it securely.
